The town and commercial village of Hudson are located along the Ottawa River a few kilometers north of Highway 40. The community is vibrant and the commercial village of Hudson remains a local draw for the surrounding region and beyond to encompass Greater Montreal. Hudson remains connected to Montreal via the Exo train line as well as bus service to Vaudreuil-Dorion. A ferry in the summer months connects the village to the town of Oka across the river.
